
La etapa final del arte prerrománico asturiano coincide con los últimos años del reinado de Alfonso III y los inmediatamente posteriores en los que la corte se traslada a León. Se caracteriza por una gran expansión territorial y por el consiguiente distanciamiento de los centros promotores. Desde el punto de vista arquitectónico y estético no se realizarán aportaciones relevantes, repitiéndose fórmulas ya ensayadas con anterioridad. Pertenecen a este periodo iglesias como Santiago de Gobiendes, en el concejo de Colunga, o San Salvador de Priesca, en el concejo de Villaviciosa.

Die Endperiode der präromanischen Kunst fällt mit den letzten Jahren der Herrschaft Alfons III. und den unmittelbar darauf folgenden Jahren, als der Hof nach Leon verlagert wurde, zusammen. Sie zeichnet sich durch eine große Gebietsausbreitung und die dementsprechende Entfernung von den Bauträgern. Aus der architektonischen und ästhetischen Sicht wurden keine relevanten Neuerungen eingeführt, vielmehr wurden die schon früher bewährten Formeln wiederholt. Aus dieser Zeit stammen z.B. die Kirchen Santiago de Gobiendes, im Verwaltungsgebiet („concejo“) Colunga, oder San Salvador de Priesca, im „concejo“ Villaviciosa.

Elle se caractérise par une grande expansion territoriale et par le subséquent éloignement des centres promoteurs. Du point de vue architectural et esthétique, d’apports importants ne seront pas réalisés, en répétant les formules déjà essayées au préalable. Appartiennent à cette période des églises telles que Santiago de Gobiendes, dans le conseil municipal de Colunga, ou San Salvador de Priesca, dans le conseil municipal de Villaviciosa.

The final stage of Asturian Pre-Romanesque art coincides with the last years of the reign of Alfonso III and those immediately afterwards in which the court was transferred to León. It is characterised by a large territorial expansion and the subsequent distancing of the promoting centres. No new relevant contributions would be made from the architectural and aesthetic point of view, repeating formulae already tested previously. Churches such as that of Santiago de Gobiendes, in the council of Colunga, or San Salvador de Priesca, in the council of Villaviciosa, belong to this period.
